How We Use Your Data
THE SHORT VERSION
You report fuel prices. We show them on a map. That's it. Your personal information is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to build marketing profiles.
PRICE REPORTS
Every price you submit becomes part of a crowd-sourced dataset visible on the public map. Reports are anonymous — other users see the price, station, and date but never who submitted it.
LOCATION DATA
When you submit a price, we use your approximate location to identify the nearest fuel station. We do not store your raw GPS coordinates. Once the station is matched, your precise location is discarded.
PHONE NUMBER
If you optionally provide your phone number (via WhatsApp, Telegram, or the website), it is used only to link your submissions so you can track your personal fuel spending over time. It is never used for marketing or shared with anyone.
TELEGRAM & WHATSAPP
Our bots process only the messages you send to them about fuel prices. We do not read your other chats, access your contacts, or store any data from the messaging platform beyond what you explicitly submit to FuelTrack.
ANALYTICS
We collect anonymous usage metrics (page views, feature usage) to understand how to improve the service. These analytics contain no personally identifiable information.
